RFID Technology & it's Advantages

Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) is the use of radio waves to read and capture information stored on a tag to an object. RFID technology was firstly applied in World War II to identifying airplanes as friend or enemy. It has become popular in recent years, not only because the relating technology has been improved but also because the implementation cost of RFID continues to decrease.

Today, RFID cards have been a cost-effective solution to improve business efficiency and productivity. Their applications include:

Access control: one of the most common applications of RIFD technology. Suitable for selective access management or event passes.
Membership or loyalty cards: the usage of RFID in loyalty program is increasing every year. With RFID technology embedded in the loyalty cards, you can track your customer and even detect them as they walk past the store or walk into it.
Warehouse management: RFID technology saves 90% of the time to collect data and find an item than a human in a warehouse.

Accepted File Formats
Our preferred format for print-ready artwork file is EPS, PDF, PSD or Adobe Illustrator (AI) files. To make sure your design turns out precisely accurate, please use our plastic card design templates. They are cost-free and also offered in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Acrobat.

Color Specification
Our Heidelberg offset printing machine uses the industry-standard color mold CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) to create all the colors. So the most important thing when you are creating your artwork files is to make sure you are using the right color mode as the graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop by default use RGB colors instead of CMYK. We also accept Pantone Colors. Just specify the PMS code on your artwork when you finish the design.

Font Outlining
Font outlining means turn the text on your artwork into vector shapes. Why this matter? Because sometimes we may not have the same font as your computer, font outlining can make sure there won’t be any problems with a missing font, it will also avoid any legal issue regarding font transference.
